I am not a doctor, so perhaps there's some sort of medical professional who can clear up my confusion:

Do the kids who got pushed into the river have MORE, LESS, or THE SAME AMOUNT OF "cardiac activity" as the six-week embryos that the lawmakers in Texas are so keen to protect?

I'm certain if they were wealthy people this would be making headlines across the globe. Fuck this shit....really just fuck it all.

Moot question. These kids have brown skin so their amount, or lack, of cardiac activity is irrelevant.

The embryos have good 'Murrican proto-hearts whereas these unlegals have filthy foreign hearts, so there's your answer.

Now I'm just waiting on a Republican politician to be caught on a hot mike talking about a "final solution" to immigrants.

More. Because the “cardiac activity” supposedly in embryos is electrical impulses, not a heartbeat, and not part of circulatory system.

When I lived in the Southwest in the early 1970s, people went back and forth like the border didn't even exist. Nixon's, the radical leftist, open border!

In Greg Abbott's world, a family of drowned migrants is a family not taking jobs away from American families.

Reading about 18 U.S.C. § 242 and trying to figure out if all this could get Abbot charged with conspiracy to violate civil rights by using law enforcement as a weapon.

Most people, when they become paralyzed from a tree falling on them, become kinder and more grateful because they understand the struggle and sense of despair. Not Abott. Dude, karma is a bitch and the rebound is much worse.

I know, right? Such a life-altering event should temper someone with some there but for the grace of G-d self-reflection and empathy. Instead he seems to have taken it as an opportunity to live another day to make vulnerable people’s lives worse. I would say his paralyzing accident made him a worse person but if it didn’t, I shudder to think what he was like BEFORE.

And right wingers say that it is unfair to compare these bastards to Nazis. They are absolutely the same. They would gleefully commit genocide if they could get way with it.
