I prevailed upon paul to haul my large plug-in Jack-o-lantern upstairs last night and we placed in in front of our big front room windows. It did the trick and we had quite a few trick or treaters for the first time in a couple of years. The little ones were just too damned adorable and the few young teens that got dressed up and went out to seek treats were a talkative and a very clever bunch of kids.
Samhain remains my favorite holiday out of the entire lot.
