The Capitol File "Little Black Book" Party
Last week,Capitol Filemagazine declared a bunch of losers to be the most notable singles in Washington and then they threw them a party.
Your humble editor is decidedly neither eligible nor notable. Liz Glover, though, might be, so we sent her, along with the decidedly notable Liz Gorman , to drink with the douchebags. Above, L. Glover's video of the night. After the jump, her report, sort of. And, of course, a lovely gallery of Liz Gorman pictures are all included at no additional cost to you, the reader. Enjoy!

Attire: cocktail or "summer sexy." By invitation only.
Every once in a while Wonkette comes across some information that is truly earth shattering and life changing. We stumbled upon one such scoop at the "The Young and the Guest List" -- no sorry that's Washington Life -- Capitol File's "Little Black Book" party.
While lingering at the bar, we were chatting with some unsuspecting guests and took a sip of a beverage from a martini glass. The earth stood still. It was the most delicious cocktail ever to have passed through our foul mouths. Light and refreshing, yet potent. Here's the recipe -- equal parts -- all chilled to perfection:
* top shelf vodka (Grey Goose or Stoli will do)
* fresh squeezed blood orange juice (in a pinch? try substituting Tropicana but it won't be quite the same). Odwalla Strawberry C Monster is also delectable.
* champagne (preferably Veuve, Moet, if not Piper...Cook's gives us a headache)
We don't know the name of said cocktail but will be perusing your comments for suggestions. We hope news of this cocktail is spread far and wide and that it will be served at all soirées we attend always and forever.
