Hamas has begun the killings of Palestinians in the streets who they think want peace with Israel. It is almost inevitable that they will begin shelling and suicide bombing Israel again, given their endless financial support from Qatar.

Here's my proposed solution: two demilitarized zones, one in Gaza led by anyone but Hamas, and with no military at all, ever. Capital can be in East Jerusalem. (I love the idea of it being the only city that is capital of two countries, as it is unique in being the home of two of the West's three self-proclaimed 'great religions.')
Second one is the West Bank, not Palestinian but multi-cultural, with Orthodox Jews and Muslims living together in a heavily policed territory with only non-religious schools. No Madrassas to promote hate, no Yeshivas to promote hate. Make it all Montessori until 6th grade, then IB for grades 7-12. It will be the greatest experiment in erasing religious extremist-based hate since the end of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
