This country’s “justice” system will continue to be a complete joke until taking bribes is viewed less favorably than making impertinent comments.
The hardest part for me these days is having to disguise my utter contempt for the system and anyone who’s part of it on those rare occasions I have to deal with them, getting called for jury duty, for example.
So the same people who have been telling us for at least half a century that criticizing racism is "the REAL racism" are now saying that criticizing corruption is "the REAL corruption"?
Or have they just skipped directly to, "illegal = anything we don't like"?
