Initially, the "study" claimed that it found very strong evidence that ROGD is a very real social contagion mental illness that is infecting the vast majority of teenagers in the U.S. When it was pointed out that all the data in the "study" was completely fabricated (as admitted in the "study" itself), Littman reworded the conclusion to say that she found no evidence of ROGD, but did find evidence that some people on the internet believe ROGD exists.
Holy shit -- unless the internet is completely wrong, I know Lisa Littman. I went to high school with her. For whatever reason, neither her professional online presence nor her husband's mention their spouses. Her Facebook page mentions nothing of this ROGD stuff.
