Our Dog of Blessed Memory reminded us of a little deer because of how she was built, and how she moved. She was a VERY good girl.
The first Thanksgiving my now husband and I spent together, before we were married. He came over with the dog. I lived in a slum. The kitchen floor had a definite slope. I took out the turkey and set it on the kitchen table to cool a bit. We realized that the turkey pan had a little hole and had become a fountain of turkey juices pouring down because of the slope. There was dog, sitting under the stream with her mouth just open and the turkey juice flowing down.
It's such a beautiful gif, and very "arty", thank you! Although I keep hearing "It's Raining Men" when I watch it. That's so wrong, too! And yet I can't help myself.
Youbetcha deer are fun! But yesterday morning I notice that one of my bird feeders was missing. After sunrise I saw that it was bent over. It was mounted on a 5 foot piece of 3/4 inch metal conduit. Deer have been feeding from it at other times but never bent it like that. So I figure it might have been a BLACK BEAR looking for a snack having just awakened from hibernation. It surprised me that my flea bags didn't go berzerk. It was an easy fix so it was OK by me!
I wish I knew who was it that said worrying about deported immigrants was a distraction because I missed the first time around and never want to say anything positive about that person ever again.
My deepest condolences to US Rep Jim McGovern (D-MA) on the loss of his daughter Molly. Molly was on a trip to Italy and passed from Cancer. Very sad indeed!
Well I for one hope they put all the Ameros they save from not studying ovarian cancer and infant mortality into studies of the clear benefits of ball tanning.
