It was very strange. He didn't campaign here at all for AG, and he won a big swath of the center of the state. Teachout took most of the Hudson Valley, and James took NYC and Long Island (maybe Westchester, too, I don't remember). I can't help but think he was picked as a spoiler to split the upstate vote. James is good, but I want someone to be the AG of New York State, not New York City.
Working from an airport bar in the middle of Texas. I'm being tremendously productive. I'm thinking of asking work if they have a work-from-bar policy. I voted on the first day of early voting, so I can just go home once i get there, lo these many hours. I want to stay conscious for results, but the outlook may be bleak.

I was SO SAD that Teachout didn't win the primary!!! There was no question in my mind that she was the best candidate. Tish James is certainly better than the GOP alternatives, and a solid choice on her own merits, but I'm a Zephyr fangirl 100%.

I've felt guilty because in election years past I have made pie and taken them to the volunteers but didn't have time this year.
