Blessings on you. You sound like a fantastic teacher who surely has improved the lives of many children. XO

Another reason to like you. I'm a Masterpiece Mystery addict. Special affection for Morse and every one of his spin-offs.

I rarely ever watch CNN so I didn't notice this was a thing until I read about Brianna Keilar criticizing the President for calling MAGAs semi-Fascists. Then I looked into the issue and found out about kajillionaire John Malone and how fixated he is on making CNN more palatable to elderly idiots. I'm now convinced we are doomed and TV news is eventually going the way of newspapers. Time to bow down to our lords and masters at TikTok.

Any day now I expect to see "the alleged rising of the sun in the east."

And "the tragic death of 99-year-old Henry Kissinger."

If you watch British shows you will see that the police there have the right to ask to see the guns at any home and to checkif they are locked safely up or not. If you do not follow the rules, you lose your guns, I think.

Some of the women teachers I had when I was in school would have stopped intruders with one look. One teacher lady spent her summer re roofing her house, all alone. Never mess with real teachers.

You know, I have never seen "Morse." I was not into it when it was on "Mystery" on PBS in the USA. I have heard it is on the order of "Prime Suspect" good.

I am also currently watching "Upstairs/Downstairs" (WWI...makes me cry) and "Duchess of Duke Street" by the same writers, I think.

And then there's Mrs Slocum's pusssy...

Not for me to say, but thank you. I consider it the privilege of my life to have worked with the kids I have, felons and all (I used to teach in juvie). And I tell them that, in so many words, periodically.

Keep well.

Which would be great since if you are on probation you can't possess a firearm. I predict a strong talking too and a finger wag.
