My mother, too, was sorry she never got grandchildren. I've never been sorry I didn't reproduce.

I moved from San Bernardino CA, the desert basically to Durango CO elevation 6,800' and believe me, I understand adapting quickly. I used to laugh at 100 degrees and now I'm faint at 75. I used to be cold at 50 degrees and yesterday I was outside in shorts and sandals at 50 and enjoying the sun.

I called that de-sissyfying myself which my mom got a big kick out of and told me that I was 'acclimatizing'.

That’s not the same as evolving though. That takes generations, and luck.

Well, an aspirin ain't gonna fix the cancer they've caused or purchased to be more accurate. They've lost twice in court lately regarding liability/responsibility. I think Monsanto's Round-Up is found in everything we eat and drink anymore, even beer and wine.I used to spray that shit all over my property 25 years ago.

The good guys may actually win this one, albeit way too late.

Aha! We have lots of roadkill here in CO and the food chain plays out right out in my yard.Pile of fur close to a pile of feathers over by the stack of bones.

I've been wasp bit so many times that I just wade into them now if I really need to get to something.

I love gardening and knowing that planting one simple plant instead of the other may help a butterfly along its way makes it very rewarding. Especially when they show up.

Hummingbirds are my fav though tbh.

I was wiseassing with that one but its the best personal representation that I have.As a descendant of the American Indian, I guess I have that adaptation in me as well.

My Gramma was raised on the rez but I have no info on her parents and grandparents.

I know my own experience doesn't equate to evolution of species but its still an evolution that I can fully relate to.

The cockroaches already have the Presidency and the Senate.

I believe Trump inherited about $400 million. If he had invested that in a safe index stock fund he'd be way richer than he is now (or at least claims to be).

Its a win/win/win/win at least. Gardens are beautiful and plants benefit us all. They are good for our climate challenged little friends and they get peeps off of their butts and out into the soil, which is a good thing.

And that's just the flowers and shrubs and such. Veggies are a whole 'nother kettle-o-fish.I grew cherry tomatoes indoors all winter and they are damned good.

I get about 2 to 3 birds per. Then the friggin' redhead (forgot name for that one) always shows up and chases them away. Haven't figured out the usefulness or point of that yet?

I get some really colorful finches-I think they are and woodpeckers galore.

I don't believe we are in the butterfly flight path at this elevation and climate but we get a few.

Its been known to snow here well into June and again by October.
