Are you triggered? Do you need a safe space? (Repeat 3000 times) We are all, of course, amazed and fascinated by the unfolding drama of the Devin Nunes Wet Fart Memo (and now the Democratic counter-memo, Please Clean That Out of Your Pants, DEVIN). It's insane and shiny and also maybe a constitutional crisis, so of course it's something to keep an eye on. But as Vox's Matthew Yglesias
Goddamnit work requirements for public housing? Taking away CHCs? More homeless and sick people, with most of the shit going to black and browns. No racism, no racism, you're the racism.
My favorite actually: "Yet another HUD story has reporters from both the Washington Post and CNN uncovering considerable evidence that HUD Secretary Ben Carson’s son, who does not work at HUD, is nonetheless intimately involved in HUD business mostly in ways designed to benefit himself personally"
Will the Medicaid work requirements apply to the millions of old white women in nursing homes across America? (i.e. the majority of Medicaid recipients)
Don't forget the proposal to set lifetime caps on Medicaid benefits. Sorry, Meemaw, you've outlived your Medicaid benefits, out of the nursing home you go, unless you get a job, you lazy "taker."
Funny how the ACA providing coverage for doctor visits that include counseling on end of life decisions was creating a Death Panel that must be opposed at all costs, but lifetime caps on Medicaid benefits is merely cost containment.
Yeah, I don't know about other CHCs here, but we have a VA clinic in our county. When we got here and went in to sign up our veteran they said they couldn't see him, they didn't have room for new patients. Go to the VA hospital over 60 miles away - they said - and then maybe the hospital will approve you coming here.So we tried that - the procedure was to go into the hospital first thing in the morning, like 7, and get started, and you might finish getting enrolled in the local system before 5 PM when they close. Maybe. We were not successful in getting enrolled. The people (what, receptionists?) at the desk told us that our veteran should not expect better treatment, that is for "real people" and yes, that is an actual quote.
Your kids may die from tainted products but think of the trickle down effect from the profits the Rich made on that product!
You can't retweet an orange and show how he appalls!
[Offers madeleine]
They get to make more (esp black and brown) people homeless and sick, and all we get to do in response is to vote.

probably not...have a nice day!
we're gonna need it--cause they're all dirty, every last miserable fucking one of them
That's a good line, but it's out of date. Needs to be billionaires now because millionaires are middle class.

Was Gomer Pyle a Marine Corps General too? No. Gomer was a decent human being.

Imagine my stunned surprise....

Upvote for Star reference! She is vs. the forces of evil, after all.
