I couldn't believe the number of loons I ran across on Facebook who claimed "they" seeded the clouds to produce the huge storms that caused the tragic floods in TX and NC. I truly believe America has become stupider than ever.

I'm very angry. Yesterday was my 68th birthday, and I've lost my shit several times over this country because it's become a huge toilet stinking of Trump diarrhea.

My daughter is 9. I've had to deliberately avoid news about this tragedy to keep myself from descending into a dark destructive rage.

I've always thought that drowning has to be one of the most horrible ways to die. On Monday, Anderson Cooper 360 showed a photo of half a dozen "christian camper" girls in virginal white dresses. Some of them had drowned, depriving he-man Texas boys of their patriarchal rights as future husbands.

And fuck Ted Cruz and his praying, too. Fuck all their praying. Those girls drowned and they are permanently dead.

Either #1: God needs them up in Heaven. He's got a plan; or #2: if you believe in God, therefor Heaven, why would you be upset when people go there?

See? All good.

OK, parse this.

"They didn’t. I’ll tell you, if you look at that, what a situation that all is – that was really the Biden setup, that was not our setup. But I wouldn’t blame Biden for it either. I would just say this is a 100-year catastrophe and it’s just so horrible to watch,” Donald Trump said.

Moreover, the president stated that he is unsure whether the NWS needs to hire additional meteorologists.

“This was the thing that happened in seconds. Nobody expected it; nobody saw it. Very talented people are there, and they didn’t see it,” he said.

I used to live in texas and for 10 years we had a little place in the next county over from Kerr. (The Guadalupe ran through it - once washed out the bridge on the main road near our place). On top of all the good points you made, you have small town mostly incompetent governments and minimal infrastructure - there’s a lot of places there you can’t get cell service so warning people is hard and requires effort.

So there is lots of blame to go around. Today a coworker told me that a close friends daughter was at the camp. They found her body this morning. But apparently there is a boys camp there too, even lower and closer to the river. It also flooded…. But they had life rafts in every cabin so kids could get out.

Which is so appalling. Global warming plus natural disaster plus hobbled weather service plus crappy local government plus years of underinvestment in rural communities equals dead kids (and dead end lives with no opportunities). People should be mad.

If there were a hundred deaths in California wildfires from a lack of response from the Democratic administration there, a memo would go out from the RNC to every Republican officeholder instructing them on how to politicize the tragedy to the Republicans' advantage.

Let 'em have it. Both barrels. They wouldn't do any less to us.

I understand that Camp Mystic was warned back in the 1990s that it should relocate due to the camp's vulnerability to dangerous flooding. Not that I'm blaming the victim here, but it's too bad they didn't do that.

A friend of 60 years lost her granddaughter, a camper at Camp Mystic. No one, NO ONE, in the “administration” of 47 is innocent of these deaths. They don’t administer- they’ve gutted whatever there was to administer. They’re presiding over a blitzkrieg of death, destruction and chaos, all to loot our treasury and cannibalize our country.

I'm all for blaming them. They'll yell about politicalizing a tragedy. Good. Fuck 'em. Not making hay out of this will not bring those girls back, just like their prayers.

Fuck 'em. They politicize every tragedy then rend their teeth and gnash their garments when the Democrats demand they be held accountable.

And the Democrats fall in line and let them off the hook for comity.

Just to be safe, Sen. Rafael immediately flew to Cancun, leaving his dog alone.

But it was not his fault because his daughters came up with the idea. Sadly, their idea was that *they* would go to Cancun and their father would stay in Texas and do his fucking job.

The impact of eliminating USAID has been estimated at the deaths of 14 million people.

Now he's getting into Hitler-like territory. An estimated 20 million Russians alone died, so he still has some work to do.

But he still has three and a half more years.
