It is interesting to wonder what effect this is going to have on the US-S. Korea relationship. Accoding to one of the many books (I don't remember if it was one of Michael Wolf's or Bob Woodward's right now, I apologize) on the first term, one of the constant problems that arose during that term was DJT's desire to end military deployment in S. Korea and rip up the KORUS trade agreement. Now we're little more than half a year into the second term and there's a major diplomatic incident. To be clear, I'm not suggesting some conspiracy on the part of the regime, but I have to wonder if this will be ironed out or if it might be used as a pretext to do something that he clearly wanted to do the first time.

Here's the problem with this. ICE Gestapo are not actually under the control of the Trump regime. How do you enforce that order when they are all completely unidentifiable by official policy?
Fact is, administration policy is at the mercy of any random thug who's got the local authority or charisma to gather a gang of his fellow thugs with a hard-on to harass people. And it's only a matter of time before these jackboots go freelance for fun or profit. I dunno if any individuals are demanding bribes yet, but I'm sure the more enterprising are at least thinking about it.
