Trump was never actually a president in all the ways that mattered, but was instead an experiment by Americans who wondered “what would happen if…”. We all know how that turned out. So, while he was never going to have anything like a legacy to protect, he will forever be known for startling incompetence, dishonesty and corruption, and finally the shameful events of 1/6, which is so tragic and un-American it has its own date, like 9/11. As if that weren’t enough, he has nearly destroyed our faith in democracy, with almost half the nation in disbelief that he could have won in 2016, and the other in disbelief that he lost in 2020. He is a blight and MAGA will be remembered as a cautionary tale of demagoguery and tribalism.
All turncoats eventually learn the same lesson- nobody trusts or respects you if you are a vociferous champion, serially, of two opposite points of view. You betray one allegiance, no one credits the sincerity of either your discarded loyalty or your new one. Sure, they'll tolerate you, use you, but everyone knows you're just a weasel. Of course, Donnie is a special case; a malignant narcissist cannot tolerate the slightest dissent, it threatens to prick the bubble of illusion the narcissist constructs around himself, provoking an existential crisis. If the führer isn't always right, he loses his claim to be the führer.
It’s pretty pathetic when the “alpha” in their relationship is a little whiny-ass pants-shitter. They deserve each other and I say we put them both on a floating iceberg where they can slap it out until it melts.
Somewhat related, I have been following up on a suit by a now former Dominion executive against a Drumpf thug named Joe Oltmann who gave a preposterous story about infiltrating a phone chat between "antifa" who talked about rigging the election. Two high points, the Dominion guy unearthed a communication within the Drumpf campaign saying he wasn't antifa, and he claims he found several actual associates of the lying thug who deny any knowledge of what he's talking about.
Trump rewards Lindsey’s relentless brown nosing by discarding him like a used jizz towel? Unpossible! Whar famous dumpian loyalty?

Lyndsay Graham is the Flounder of American politics. He fucked up; he trusted Trump.
The truly sad thing is going to be watching Lady G. suck up even more vigorously to TFG when 2023 rolls around.

determinativeThey want me to believe that he uses determinative correctly?
The Democrats are only "vicious and fight like hell" amongst themselves. Vs. McConnell &co. they are mostly subservient.
