hate to disagree with you dok, but I think you're reading this all wrong. I think mittens is quietly just playing the role of the good republican so he doesn't make his whole senate campaign about trump. once he's elected however, I think it will be a very different story. not only will he be the conscience of his colleagues and shame them into bailing on trump when he does things that are very unchristian, he'll position himself as the savior of the republican party for 2020 when trump is sitting in jail and he can say "I told you so" also he's probably fantasizing of the day when he goes to trump in the oval office and says "well donald, I might be able to spare you the death penalty for this treason thing but first I'm gonna need you to get on your knees and beg me for it"
