The man is at best a millionaire, and a small one, at that. There's good reason he doesn't want financial documents or income tax returns released---my guess is that it's entirely possible that he was barely solvent, or insolvent, at the time of his nomination. I'm also going to go ahead and guess that he's been lying about his financial situation, such as it is, to his family, including Ivanka, and he's more afraid of them and their disappointment than anything.
They do have all kinds of bugs, besides the “bed” ones...
