Does Miss Lindsey ever keep his Trump butt brown nose out of other people's business? He got his man boobs in a wringer after the 2020 election when he tried to convince the Georgia officials in charge of their election certification to ratfuck the Democrats then. What a piece of shit. Full stop.

When I was seventeen and pregnant I did a little experiment. I purchased a cheap, faux wedding band and put it on while I was out and about on daily errands. I was treated respectfully and addressed as "Missus".

On another day I'd leave that cheap ring off and go about many of the same sort of activities. But the reception I received from strangers was entirely different; I was regarded at a distance and the whispers were all too audible.

Suffice to say my experiment proved what we all already know.

She was accused of murder after losing her pregnancy [https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/23/health/south-carolina-abortion-kff-health-news-partner/index.html]

This is not about abortion policy. But it is about the criminalization of being a woman.

Amari Marsh had a miscarriage in her second trimester. She was charged by South Carolina with murder/homicide by child abuse, law enforcement records show. She spent 22 days at the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center, where she was initially held without bond, facing 20 years to life in prison. This August, 13 months after she was released from jail to house arrest with an ankle monitor, Marsh was cleared by a grand jury. Her case will not proceed to trial.

Amari Marsh had just finished her junior year at South Carolina State University in May 2023 when she received a text message from a law enforcement officer.

“Sorry it has taken this long for paperwork to come back,” the officer wrote. “But I finally have the final report, and wanted to see if you and your boyfriend could meet me Wednesday afternoon for a follow up?”

Marsh understood that the report was related to a pregnancy loss she’d experienced that March, she said.

WHY WAS THERE EVEN A GODDAMNED INVESTIGATION ON THIS.

Did you see that she had been in and out of the hospital b/c they refused to treat her miscarriage? Yeah, that was the anti-abortion law. She and her boyfriend called 911 looking for medical help because she was bleeding profusely AFTER being sent home for the second time (or was it the third? I think the second), and so there was a 911 record and so they investigated.

Representative Anthony D’Esposito, a New York Republican, gave part-time jobs to both his lover and his fiancée’s daughter, in possible violation of House ethics rules

...Shortly after taking the oath of office, the first-term congressman hired his longtime fiancée’s daughter to work as a special assistant in his district office, eventually bumping her salary to about $3,800 a month, payroll records show.

In April, Mr. D’Esposito added someone even closer to him to his payroll: a woman with whom he was having an affair, according to four people familiar with the relationship. The woman, Devin Faas, collected $2,000 a month for a part-time job in the same district office.

Payments to both women stopped abruptly several months later, in July 2023, records show, around the time that Mr. D’Esposito’s fiancée found out about his relationship with Ms. Faas and briefly broke up with him, according to the four people...
