The reason I finally signed up after reading Wonkette and paying attention to these goings-on for 7+ years now: In a kind of epiphany it hit me that a possible answer might be to organize mass protests against the GOP itself. I cannot imagine democratic-minded citizens as in the least doubtful about the stature of that "party" as it now stands: It's a pseudo-political body bent on changing your country's system of government, full stop. Protest the shit out of 'em!!! In Masses. It might help get some dynamics going. Don't leave all the good folks trying their damnedest to keep things working alone with having to resist the nutjob-infiltrati all by themselves. They need to see some encouragement happening to know that they're not alone and that their efforts aren't in vain.
