Nope, sorry, that's a "they've been doing it to us for decades, and now they've shown us they're willing to do it to you, Donnie, no matter how much you pout."

Love that the judge uses the value of Merde-a-Lardo that Donnie himself insisted upon when arguing with the Palm Beach tax assessor. Junior is bullshitting the drooling idiots who listen to him, whining about the $18MM number, as if the judge pulled it out of the air – when in fact Donnie pulled it out of his ass.

Remember, this is all civil. Jail is not one of the choices. For that, you need a separate proceeding and a higher level of proof.

I defer to the greater expertise of real litigators, but I'm pretty sure that isn't provided for by relevant (or irrelevant) statutes. It is true, however, that Arlo Guthrie had to pick up the garbage, so maybe?

That was a criminal case. That's why he was sent to the Group W bench with the mother-rapers, father-stabbers, and father-rapers.

It occurs to me that having all your business certificates cancelled probably counts as pretty effective public humiliation, not that the nasty, vindictive part of me that I try to keep in check wouldn't enjoy the orange suited street sweeping, especially if you add a new haircut and take away all his makeup. Livestream it on pay-per-view and use the proceeds to register voters, pay for abortions and who knows what else. I don't think the Eighth Amendment would be offended yet.

In a footnote, Engoron notes that during oral arguments, Trump lawyer Christopher Kise admitted that square footage is an objective number, not just a general vibe.

<<<<

Use of the word "admitted" in this context is why Christopher Kise got that $3million retainer, apparently. Though, he couldn't hold the line on that absurdity as he has with all the others.

This development today warmed the cockles and sub-cockles of my heart. There is nothing more satisfying than sweet lady Justice, justice-ing all over some putrid son of a gun who so richly deserves it, and no one deserves it more in this moment than this sniveling orange bawbag. Good times!
