Gravedigger of Democracy Mitch sat on all of President Obama's picks, until there was only one (pretty sure) governor left- as a result, of course, all pending decisions were put/left on hold. After which, the full board was re-established by McConnell toadies via the barely sentient "president." So -- the last, or next-to-last, nail in the coffin of a once honorable organization. It's just a fucking shame.ETA- The rank-and-file are almost overwhelmingly loyal, hard working people. They're being sold out by management-- which is under the misapprehension that they're somehow not going down with the USS Betrayal.
I've watched the entire series several times. I love the first episode when Will is asked "Why is the US the greatest country on earth?" There is so little out there for good liberals like us. West Wing.

Having one of ‘those’ nights. “Spend the time you have left with your loved ones” has now become my new mantra. Bless you, Stephen:)
Of our growing Trump-era library, Frum’s ‘Trumpocracy’ is one of the best.
Says a lot about their base - the fuckwits who preferred Donnie Dumbfuck over the rest of the field.
Don't vote for him either.

I'm still waiting for someone to ask him how he feels about trade relations between the US and Wakanda just to see what kind of shit he babbles out
