Revoking someone else's citizenship is a wet dream to a huge chunk of the base. They have already declared themselves the TRUE AMERICANS, so this would be the legal justification for that as near as I can tell.

So the important question that never gets asked to any of the "you should lose your citizenship for burning a flag/whatever else I decide is unpatriotic" crowd is this: OK you've taken away someone's citizenship, what now? You can't let them stay here since they would be illegal being here with no citizenship, but you can't deport them because they have no home county to go to. You can't force another country to give then citizenship so they can be deported to there. And the problems get worse from there.

Just another not even half thought through talking point.

Maybe it works out like it does in states where convicted felons permanently lose their right to vote. You're not exactly NOT a citizen, but you're not a full citizen with all the same rights as everyone else.
