Yeah but what about the Russians hacking the vote totals with the voting machines. That's why tRump is against mail in voting. The Mueller report said that manafort gave voter registration numbers to russian operatives. Why would the Russian want/need those unless they were hacking the voting machines. Maybe bypass the post office and use drop off boxes for your mailed ballots. I'm so pissed that traitorous tRump is trying to steal our democracy.

We've been worrying about Russian hacking for four years. Election boards are EXPECTING that, and hopefully prepared. NO ONE can prepare for what the GOP's plans are with mailed-in ballots.

I'm in Texas and haven't heard a thing about making absentee ballots easier to get. For us, it's only for those who are out of state, really old, or disabled who qualify. =/

If it hasn't arrived by mid-October, I'm headed to the polls with a mask on, and crawling over shattered glass, barbed wire, and the still-warm bodies of anti-maskers who've dropped dead in the streets from their own stupidity if I have to.

SO SAY WE ALL!

And yet, I will NOT call my congresscritter because he is an evil AlwaysTrumper, and has pulled shady shit in elections of his own before, so why would I waste my time?I hope that you are sucessful, but if your critter has voted all along with Trump, I can't see that would suddenly change now.

And the Senate Republicans say: [crickets]

Or is it "We wouldn't critique him?"

If we had a functioning government, Congress would have a bilateral agreement to appropriate the money and a veto-proof majority so Orange Assclown couldn't veto it.

What do you suppose would happen to such a bill in the Senate?

Here’s a link to the House’s concern letter from yesterday.

I suspect Trumpco LLP had a wunnerful Golf–Foxtrot–Yankee moment after this letter hit their desks.

Given the harsh reality of the calendar, emergency court action may be necessary.

Hi from Arizona, from within a red county :-/Hm. This county only has mail-in voting. Been this way for more than a while.I have a volunteer who will take my ballot to the drop off box, but I really wish I could be a fly on the ceiling in a few of my trumpy neighbors' houses--the arguments might be pretty funny right about now.

There'll be a lot of anti-maskers dropping dead in the streets from their own stupidity after this 300,000-person maskless beer-irrigated biker blast I have been reading about. The orange idiot should send in the military to break that up before it begins. The trouble is it'll spread to a lot of sensible people caught in the way after the drunken covid-19 spreaders go home.Oh, but they'll have shown those mask-wearing wusses how real men act, all right.
