I think that the issue is that most of the American common people have absolutely no idea what is going on outside their horizon and go out of their way to avoid learning.
The endless stream of lies and toxic memes coming out of the reactionary media sphere certainly isn't helping either, since that's what convinced them that everyone in power is exactly as corrupt, unprincipled, and malevolent as the Republicans, and therefore there is no reason to ever vote or even care what is happening.
I posted this down below, but I don't think anybody saw it.
I have a question, because something is eluding me that is apparently self-evident.
When Trump made that speech about planted nuclear documents in the stuff seized from Mar-A-Lago, there were comments that he was just asking to be indicted.
However, it's been in the media that there were some kind of nuclear documents, and I am not sure why him bringing this up in a speech is so shocking?
Disagree.I have very thick, very wavy hair, good cheekbones, and multiple pierced ears. Were it not for the social stigma, a mullet would be the perfect haircut.
I once heard that there is a difference between the government and private enterprise. If you want to learn how to buikd an atomic bomb, just go to your public library. But no one knows what the 11 secret herbs and spices in KFC are. Maybe we could trade Trumps book on making atomic bombs for a bucket of chicken.
So funny. Yes, he'd used cut-rate plutonium.

I'll be there for that
But will you join me?
sure, why not?
"...Maggie Haberman and Mike Schmidt make much of a suggestion bruited by Trump..."
"Bruited"!
I confess some words are so wonderful that I can stop reading for awhile and simply sit back, close my eyes and whisper the word to myself for awhile.
The word 'bruited' did that to me today.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Trump has finished his fugue state; he is now completely insane.

"I'll return the stuff I stole if you let me steal other stuff" is not the CYA he seems to think it is.
He and Reagan remind me of George Carlin's question, "If a very stupid person goes senile, how can anyone tell?"
Some guy on FB referred to Trump as a "parvenu". I sent him a friend request specifically for the correct use of that word.

Yeah, but they're enjoying them IRONICALLY, so it's different.

Thank you for giving me another word to meditate upon!
"Is there a book on nuclear destruction? Let's put that book with Trump. I see no way that could possibly go wrong."Said no one ever.
