privatization, thus turning the Veterans Administration into a money machine for connected grifters. never mind that privatization always results in worse service, less service, and ballooning cost

were they smart: they would leave the midterms alone, let everyone howl and twist themselves into knots over nothing, keep gathering data or test a few low risk things out, then hyper-target districts in 2020. herr drumpf will rack up even less of the popular vote in 2020 election, yet still "win" electoral. at that time, everyone will appropriately lose their shitonce "elected" a 2nd term, drumpf is totally expendable.
Ok, I have a legitimate question, although it may not sound it. ¬.¬ I firmly believe that Trump is as dirty as they come, and that the Russians worked to make him win. I'm even fairly certain his campaign aided and abetted that, although there also seems to be a fair bit of ignorance of the law going on. Which doesn't excuse it, but does mesh with my view that he's too stupid to be a good conspirator. He blabs. As the projection in the tweets above can attest! He blusters. He doesn't understand things. It's entirely possible he gets to go to jail for conspiracy because he's a moron, and did things that were illegal because he doesn't have a moral compass to help out when his knowledge fails.
Here's my problem, though: I am having some trouble reconciling this with the reports that he, himself, was stunned at his win. (this isn't the article I read at the time, but it's the same sort of story) And the theory that he was running as a publicity stunt. Did he accept Russian aid, possibly act on Putin's orders, all the time expecting it wouldn't work? Did he simply think they were going to help him make a good showing, so his loss wouldn't be too much for him to stand? (Hah! As if he could lose and be alright with it!) Did he think breaking the law only mattered if he won? Were reports he was stunned a lie? Or is his brain just that bad that he can simultaneously work behind the scenes to rig an election and still be surprised it worked?
I'm not trying to nitpick. But this seems like a hole in the picture. What am I missing?

Trump didn't think he would win, but as the media kept attacking Clinton and covering Trump every time he sneezed, he figured he had a chance. But even if he lost he figured he could keep his name in the headlines by contesting the election. Which was also another fall back position by Russia and the GOP, and Trump figured he could ride that horse for a while himself. Republican leaders in Congress had already made plans to investigate everything Clinton had ever done if she won, beginning with her emails and more Benghazi hearings.
So Trump was surprised that he won. But either way, he knew he could make money off of it and keep his name in the headlines for years. The Obama birth certificate deal was just a warm up for Trump Inc. If he lost the election, and he knew the media would give him hours of free time every day to spout his trash, just like they do now.
The President has no power to suspend elections.
Got this in a farm discussion group on facebutt.

She has at that. If so, I really expect the Donald was the loser in that bout.

Both and, also too.

“Meat by-product “ aka anything you’d puke over if you tried eating it in its original state

I hope that was in jest?
