This little masculine decision by Johnson/Trump could come back and bite the GOP when it comes time to vote for legislation. Turner isn't stupid,he knows his political future is virtually over, but he can do real damage to any legislation the GOP puts forward. This could be very interesting.
I think that one of the main reasons why so many people and corporations suck up to trumpy is because they know he will do corrupt things for them and they want corrupt things done for them.
So I schooled up on Vought's hearing. So my fellow feds, here's my take. If you ever depended on Congress to save your programs when the WH zero'd you out, even in light of impoundment act, I'd think twice. There are no rules, norms, and scotus is undependable.
Additionally, he is looking forward to terrifying us. I am sure that message has been passed to transition teams.

Turner is a smart guy and as revenge or just common sense may vote down every Trump action that could hurt American foreign policy. Also Trump creates a Lord of the Flies atmosphere in the WhiteHouse - so we can look forward to leaking of info to US public - which will increase scrutiny on their shenanigans.
You CAN NOT say the face eating leopards are wrong and then turn around and vote for the leader of the face eating leopards. That said. I would like to see some of his Dem colleagues court his ass with nice. Don't need him to change parties, need to know he is a vote that can be persuaded down the road on things like Ukraine aid.
