I appreciated a woman on CNN tonight who said "we cannot normalize this behavior." She was talking about his insane Pocahontas bullshit, but really, you could say this about any day in Trump's life.

And our legescritters have been trying to talk to Congress and/or Senate about how INCREDIBLY FUCKED UP the GOP tax plan is. I'm just afraid they'll see it as confirmation that it's everything they've always wanted.

I'm sorry you lived this. My dad was like that with my mom but for anyone who meets my mom, her grace speaks louder than any pejorative my dad can conjure up. It's taken me years to understand Kurt Vonnegut's admonition to babies (in "Good Bless You, Mr Rosewater.")
