That's just crazy enough to be plausible! I like it.

When my work friend wanted to move his driving license from his native PR to his home in NY, I helped him at the DMV's website, and made sure to register him to vote Democratic.

Of course. Just providing some facts.

I'm not seeing "Hovel," "Barren Heath," or "Windswept Moor" on that list.

In the last 4 years I have reread '1984' about 4 times. I have noticed little difference between the book and reality and each day that goes by the differences decrease.

they've been able to get the absentee ballots done extremely professionally

Oh, sure, because where it comes to voting, when you think "done professionally," you think Florida.

Almost every damned thing is fixable. These anti mail in voting folks keep shouting 'it may fail', 'fraud', 'late count'. Like all conservatives, they feel their mission is done if they point out a problem....they never bring a solution.

Thank you! I was wondering how designations like "box" sneaked in there.

The venality is obvious. The elderly in Florida who vote for Trump need their mail in. In areas where it won't go for Trump, no mail in. Makes perfect sense to our developing country style dictatorial corrupt regime.

All we're doing here is fine-tuning voter suppression.

What is an β€œupland” in this context?

Mail-in voting in Florida is FINE, because they never count the votes from all of the blue districts, anyway.
