CNN said trump's demeanor is the most relaxed it's been since jury selection. They must have him on some heavy duty drugs.

Jury Hidey Hole would be a great name for a very clandestine speak easy and sex club located around Center St. in Manhattan! Just saying.

I would never read The Inquirer. However, I used to purchase the Weekly World News on the regular!

"The Inquirer" is what locals call Philadelphia's serious daily newspaper, whose name in full is The Philadelphia Inquirer. Many emphasize the first syllable of Inquirer and omit the last, so it sounds similar to ink-wire.

The National Enquirer is a very different thing. Oddly enough, my phone did not want to autocomplete either name.

In black & white pre-Internet Britain they sold the National Enquirer at out local newsagent.

I found it fascinating and exotic.

Who or what was a 'Delta Burke'?

Has Michael Jackson finally found 'the one' to settle down with?

Is the extra long deliberation good or bad (for us, not trump)?

Expand full comment
FurryCaterwauling's avatar

Long deliberations imply not guilty, but with so many counts, it will take time to slog through all of them. {Not a lawyer.}

"For 23 long days, 18 New Yorkers selected at random have been plucked from their lives, hotboxed in a farty courthouse, deprived of naps for hours on end, pressed into touring a world slimier and grimier than a Marcio Rubio foam party. "

On the positive side, the courthouse is right on the edge of Chinatown, and lunch options are AWESOME.

And in related news, a former Apprentice producer claims to have trump on tape asking how America would feel if a n***** won.

Noah Casler has been saying the same thing for a decade. Nobody gives a shit about second-hand gossip about what a racist he is.

Does this guy have tapes? Is he going to release them? No? Then fuck him. My bet is he's trying to build some hype with juicy gossip so he can sell a tell-all book somewhere down the line. What he is definitely not going to do is anything tangible to save us from this nightmare.

There’s been a former producer who claims to have a lot of stuff on Trump, but he’s never actually come forward with anything. Wonder if it’s the same guy?

Could be. This article said the NDA is about to expire so that could be why he's speaking up after 10 years.
