I don't know either...but speaking as a System Admin, almost certainly. They might not have the tools to do it right now, but they would certainly possess the capacity.

May as well set the exit point to St Petersberg too.

Oh snap.On the twitter thread from Courtney Milan quoted here by Jamie Croft, another person (Rick Hasen) has linked a thread commenting the judge's decision.Paraphrasing what the judge said "no gov official - including the President - is above the law, and all government officials are presumed to follow the law."That's a very concise and polite way of saying "I expect you little boys to clean your room, don't make me tell it to you twice".

Even better, Candygrams!

Of course not! Everybody knows districts are determined by Republicans, period.

I agree, but I think it will be another gray area legally speaking. I guess the line between political public official, business profile, celebrity, activist, and civilian (in social media) needs to be more specific.

I agree. I love it everytime I see it, and more as time goes on this trump hellscape.

His blocking is 1st Amendment. Ours is not.

It could be both. How long have the Rethugs been meddling with the vote-counting computers?

Oh, gods, don't suggest he start doing his job. He's done too much damage while NOT doing it - should he take it seriously, the world is FUCKED.

Good to see SOME part of the government working as intended.

I'm just trying to imagine the actual mechanism for this action to be enforced. Twitter does have an "unblock all" button, but Individual-1 is like 111 years old and has probably never Googled anything in his life. So he will probably have to go through all the blocked accounts one at a time and click "unblock" on them individually, smearing Special Sauce on the screen each time as he takes bites of one of several Big Macs sitting half-eaten around him on his bed.
