Myeshia Johnson, in case the president needs to be reminded of her name. Did the weekend even just happen? Isn't Monday the time when Donald Trump likes to debut the NEXT fake grievance he's going to use to hold the American people hostage and distract them from his malignant, failing presidency? Apparently he's still obsessed with last week's fake grievance, because Myeshia Johnson, the surviving wife of fallen Army Sgt. La David Johnson,
I think, based on the events, there SHOULD be hearings. Someone needs to be held responsible and prosecuted into the ground over this, though I suspect that would consist of throwing a Blackwater pawn sacrifice to the wolves. I give no fucks for anyone that works at Blackwater. They're all despicable human beings.
Kelly was kind of stupid to let him make the call. He blew it, as expected and the resulting firestorm caused people to start questioning the events leading up to this ambush and the fact that it's all 2scoops' fault. He got this guy killed.
John Kelly, who are you to criticize which people the wife of a fallen soldier had chosen to have by her side when the President's call was received on a speakerphone, especially since Trump has said that many people were present on his end when he made the call?
Mr. Kelly, you said you advised Trump not to make the call, but you should have told Trump directly to his face the obvious real reason that you advised against making the call: Trump would surely have screwed everything up because Trump is a moron, a soulless coward and a sociopath who's devoid of compassion, empathy, conscience, shame, judgment, integrity and character.
Mr. Kelly, you gave us hope that you were somehow going to manage the adult day care center at the White House. However, the Oval Office playpen has become the Oval Office pig pen, and you have become part of the pig pen.
I hate to get all conspiracy theoryish on everyone, but, after watching Trump daily since he came down that fucking elevator in June 2015, I have serious doubts La David Johnson's body is in that flag-draped coffin Myesha Johnson cried all over.
She wanted to see his body, and she was told it had to be closed coffin. Told! I've seen enough kindly coroners and medical examiners on the teevee to know that you gently dissuade the grieving person by saying, "That's not how you want to remember them. You want to hold onto the memory of them in happier times." Seems slightly different than the Army version of, "Fuck no!"
So, she asked to see his hand (his left, I assume) to confirm that it really is her husband in that box. The Army said they couldn't do that because he was wrapped in a special covering. Was that covering made of adamantium (the hardest substance on Earth!) so it couldn't be penetrated or, you know, shifted aside so his hand could be produced?
The reasons for not letting see her dead husband's body are starting to sound like the reasons Tump can't release his tax returns.
Let's not forget that "good guy" John Kelly was totally on board with rounding up every brown person in America and deporting them when he was the Director of Homeland Security.
Thanks, but ... whoa. I'm not sure of the details and I don't want to get impulsive here. Was it really Blackwater? Going online and trying to check it out, I get the impression the private company involved in the medical evacuation was something called Berry Aviation. Not that I think contracting medevac to private civilian companies in military operations is a good idea, any more than privately run prisons. (I suspect Donald Trump and his cronies would love it, especially if they got a rake-off, but that's just a snide comment in passing.)If Erik Prince was involved even to the extent of advising the President to use private contractors, and the POTUS listened to him for a quarter-second, that's culpable in my book. But was he?Love to hear from anybody who knows more about it. Although if this is like other such incidents, getting hard-fact info on what happened is going to be like trying to nail fog.
Nor is "just doing my job"
The assholes who elected him as their avatar, who can now do ll kinds of awkward hand-wringing instead of owning their shit.

Isn't he some filthy convict that got sent to prison for being a deadbeat dad?
That's him.
Iceberg...Ginsberg...What's the difference?
Well, Gen. Kelly pretty much proved him wrong. Does that count?

That sounds way too normal to be reasonable.

With the Dotard, you'd be better off with iocaine powder.
Not sure, but they do. It's anybody who criticises them they seem to regard as not being human.
