A few years ago my neighbor across the street brought his Xmas decorations to his home from a warehouse he owned. He left the box out on the front porch for a while, and when he went out to get it stepped right over a water moccasin. Seems it had been in the box in a place that was a little warm. In the cold outdoors he slithered out looking for warmer digs and got caught out on the porch barely able to move.Could have been nasty for their kitties and young daughter if he'd brought the box right into the warm house.
