Why does any reporter even WANT to be in the WH press room or on the Truth Social plane. Press Secy KKKaroline is just going to splooge out sorry-ass lies and I'm way tired of his bowel gas being covered and reported as "news." It should be an OSHA violation to make news employees sit through those propaganda dumps. Oh right, we're going to do away w OSHA.

At least the other examples of name-changing could be rationalized, if not justified, by the fact that the geographical location of the place being re-named is in the fucking United States, or the individual state of the entity doing the re-naming.

I would say all reputable journalists should stand by the AP and decline to participate in the Assmouth circle jerks, but then the only news coming out will be filtered through Breitbart and Faux. Of course the people who need to hear some reality only listen to their selected bubble news sources anyway, so I guess it’s moot.

RE: Namin' Gulf

As History plainly shows the culture, accomplishments, and traditions of the indigenous peoples of the Americas have been eroded, denigrated, ignored, and belittled for no real reason beyond the cringing neediness of Western Chauvinism. While the following is a simple AI search result do please note that:

Before European contact, the Gulf of Mexico was referred to... simply as "the Sea of the North" by (indigenous peoples), with the most common pre-contact name likely being a variation of "Sea of the North" in indigenous languages depending on the region.

¡Fuck yeah!

I feel the need to throw some Worse on top of the Bad. Many people are saying that upcoming Special, Midterm, and General Elections will begin to set things right. And they may. But what is already obvious is that Sir Immunity need do nothing more than declare National Emergencies and suspend Elections due to -- well, let's wait and see what gets pulled out of that ass!

Elections, for the foreseeable future, will not be happening.

Elections are run by the states. States are full of power-hungry politicians who don't want to put their careers on hold, perhaps permanently, for Washington.

Unless he's going to send armed troops in to take control of all the Secretary of State offices in the country, there's going to be elections.

Sir Immunity is fucking aching to send the Army into the streets. He rated the January 6 Show 8 out of 10 — Sir Immunity will rate violence against citizens 12 out of 10. In perpetual reruns!

First, and foremost, the title on the pic at the top is *wrong*. It should read: "Beautiful Sunset, Gulf of America, Sarasota, FL

-----

"And the AP is not backing down, because global credibility is more important to them than being in the sunshine of Dear Leader’s love, weird!"

* The AP might as well concede now because in the long run, Il Douche Mooseballs Mussolini will wear it down. The International Hydrographic Organization doesn't have the power for a prolonged fight over the name of The Gulf of America, especially after he, his trained attack Dachshunds, and the RINOs in general blackmail and extort a shitload of other countries into agreeing with the name change.

* The AP's integrity will be worthless once the Fulvous Flatulence is done with them. If they won't kowtow before the Mango Malignancy then fuck them; the world doesn't need another source for fake news.

-----

"Also press agencies pay to be on the plane, it’s not some kind of favor to them."

Sorry, but it is a favor. Press agencies may pay to be on Air Force One, but they are still "guests" of the Sociopathic Marigold Swamp Monster:

> "Air Force One also has quarters for those who accompany the President, including senior advisors, Secret Service officers, traveling press, and other GUESTS" [emphasis added]. https://www.whitehouse.gov/about-the-white-house/air-force-one/

If the AP wants back in, then they should expect to pay through the nose for readmittance. May I suggest trebling the fee -- with half going directly to the Sandstone Snowflake for having to deal with assholes who don't know their place.

"This is about AP weaponizing language through their stylebook to push a partisan worldview in contrast with the traditional and deeply held beliefs of many Americans"

* Many, many Americans:

> "We estimate that MAGA Republicans, as defined, account for 33.6% (95% CI 31.9%, 35.4%) of all Republicans and15.0% (95% CI 14.1%, 15.9%) of the adult population of the US, or approximately 38.8 million (95% CI 36.5 million, 41.1 million) people." https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10763974/

Yep, ~34% of Republicans, and ~15% of all adults are onboard the non-partisan MAGA train, truly many Americans, yes?;

* Deeply held and traditional beliefs like: misogyny, racism, xenophobia, ingrained hatred of those not "like us," non-Christian Christianity (Christian nationalism, American Evangelicalism, perversions of the Christ's teachings to fit the narrative...), and firmly held convictions that the Founding Fathers envisioned a "Christian" nation as examples.

MAGA: Make the Antebellum Great Again.

"(Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski just filed a bill to restore the correct name. “It’s Denali,” she explained.)"

Sen Murkowski should have gone further by pointing out that the original name -- not the one given by an olde tyme sycophant -- and offered a translation:

> "Denali means "the high one" in Koyukon, a subset of the Athabaskan language family. Sometimes thought to mean "the great one," it comes from a term linked to the words "high" and "tall," University of Alaska Fairbanks linguist James Kari wrote in a 2003 book" https://www.ibtimes.com/what-does-denali-mean-mount-mckinleys-new-name-traditionally-defined-high-one-2075235

-----

"Daddy is the strongest man in the world, but also soft and delicate as a newborn rabbit"

The sandstone Snowflake, the WORMs (White Old RINO Men), and RINOs in general must be handled with kid gloves; the clitoris has ~8000 nerve endings but its sensitivity pales in comparison to this demographic.

-----

"Unlike the AP stylebook, the Trump stylebook is so confusing."

Not really. "'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean–neither more nor less.’" Lewis Carroll

-----

Let me close with a quote from G.K. Chesterton: “We shall soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four, in which people will persecute the heresy of calling a triangle a three-sided figure, and hang a man for maddening a mob with the news that grass is green.” Chesterton referred to a near future, a future that we already live in.

Convicted Felon must really hate Republican farmers in Republican states.

He's cutting billions in Dept of Agriculture aid to farm states. Much in the way of guaranteed loans, USAID and surplus purchases.

Billions in rural education.

Millions in improvements and infrastructure from the IFA for individual farmers.

Millions in NIH, clinics, rural health care.

NIH example: Alabama's largest employer is the University of Alabama. Undergrad and grad. Hospital, Research Institute, Med school, rural clinics. About 51% are white women. Losin $241 million this year.

Well, I guess we knew GOP don't like wominz neethers.

MAGAts love this name change because they think it owns the libs when all it does is show how stupid and jingoistic they are.

And we all know it’s just going to be changed back as soon as Cheeto leaves office and then they’ll be crying that “always was the Gulf of America!”
