I remember the joke, but not that it came from Mad. Not surprised though. It's right up their alley. Their movie and TV parodies were the best.

Genius. Pure genius. Did you know Mad Magazine was the source of Tonto asking the Lone Ranger "What you mean 'we,' white man?"

It was only an observation of FOX SPEWS made based on a poster someone put together of the women talking heads hired by FOX SPEWS. The poster was of all the women that FOX SPEWS had in front of the camera. The vast majority were blonde and from those images it was easy to see that most of the blondes were “dark root”.

FOX SPEWS had/has(?) a strong preference for putting blonde women in tight hiked short skirts in front of the camera. The women on the curvy couch viewed from the “leg cam” was a feature, not a bug, of FOX SPEWS. Some of those images taken by the “leg cam” might even be considered upskirt shots.

This was ostensibly for their audience which I recall had a median age of around 65 and predominantly male.

I'd say it's Vishnu's dream, but that's far too literate. Even an imaginary being like Vishnu is smarter than a vulgar talking yam.

I suspect such poly-credentialed individuals are often simply addressed as, "Hey, YOU there!", secondary to frustration.
