OT I'm kind of loving the Surgeon General telling blacks and latinos to "step up" and lay off the alcohol and nicotine during this pandemic, and to do it for "Big Momma" and "Pop Pop".

I can't find the article now, but they did start out as Democrats and BLM supporters, but their videos were getting literally tens of views, so when one video that seemed to support Drumpf got a lot of views, they figured out where the money was and went all-in on feeding GOPer stereotypes.

The truly ironic thing about Gravel and Burlap is Republicans think they speak to and for African Americans. They don't. Their audience is old white bigots who remember Amos and Andy and need to be reassured that they are good darkies out there who do what they're told and keep in their place.

"Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx have made it clear that COVID-19 severely impacts African Americans. If they think they are about to make Black people the Guinea pigs for their vaccines experiments, they have another thing coming. This reminds us of the Tuskegee experiment all over again!"

For some reason, I really don't see Dr. Fauci screaming to an assistant "get me some of the blackest people you can find, so I can experiment on them" and then gleefully rubbing his hands together.

Also, PSA: The saying is you've got another "think" coming, not "thing."

I always wonder if D&S aren't just a couple of really smart women, pretending to be stupid, because they realized their blackface routine would go over well with elderly white Republicans, and they could get pretty rich off of the whole scheme.
