True American Heroes. This country needs more business owners that stand up to the corrupt federal Government systems. I applaud these two and hope to meet them in person.

I'm sure they are nice MAGA folks. 3, 2, 1 I'm running for Congress!!!

We honestly need fewer crap business owners. They always try to hide behind the very employees they treat like crap, underpay, and outright steal wages from. Letting them get away with shit because someone might lose their job -- it's as stupid as saying "We can't imprison this murderer, he has a family to support, your hurting innocent children."

there are two sides to every. The world needs more leaders like these two heroes!

Like the old example of chutzpah -- a kid kills his parents and then throws himself on the mercy of the court because he's an orphan.

It's baked into the system that you have to be an asshole to be successful

"they were ordered to pay the $30,000 in fines they owe plus attorneys fees and agreed to “promptly” comply with the court’s orders." So did they? A little follow up here would be nice.

"...they can face steep consequences if they continue to skirt the law, including being taken into custody until they comply."

I see no mention of the swift and appropriate administration of dope-slaps.

See I was just talking about the good J'Biden did when he fired Peter Robb at NLRB day one. Here's a perfect example of someone right for the job being in that post.

It's not so much about who's president, it's about who they are going to put in place to run the government through all the agencies. Joe has mostly put good people in those jobs.

Good for these business leaders! True leadership and HEROES!

You must be at LEAST an elected representative to ignore court orders.

I don't know exactly how the licensing or whatever works in a salon, but someone should let Aveda know that these shitbirds are lawbreakers. Plenty of other non-criminal salon owners, undoubtedly, would be happy to have its affiliation.

Truthfully Told's avatar

AVEDA endorsed the owners. These salon owners are heroes! True leadership. This country needs more business owners that stand up to corruption.

This is bad for the Aveda brand, which is a pretty high-end brand. If Aveda was smart, they'd cancel their accreditation.

Truthfully Told's avatar

Aveda has endorsed these heroes

Hello_who_dis's avatar

They'll just buy knockoff "Aveda" products and use those.
