Right up until his "documentary" came out, I honestly wasn't sure whether D'Souza was a celebrity chef or one of those guys on the teevee machine who try to sell you consciousness-raising seminars. I miss those days, you know, those days when I didn't know who this enormous box of butthurt is.

Although Naipaul could write a wicked good sentence. I read Naipaul as I read Celine, with a paperbag over my head. His books are brilliant; it was when he opened his mouth in public that things went wrong.

In both men: a severe case of Clarence Thomas Bootlicker Syndrome.
