Looking at this new chart from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, America is starting to resemble a developed nation! In 2013, just before the forcible throat-cramming of quality, affordable healthcare began, 18% of Americans were uninsured. And now that number is down to ... this can't be right. This poll must have a liberal bias. They must have only asked Americans who don't love America, because it says that the uninsured rate has precipitously dropped in the intervening time, down to 11.4%. Read it and weep, fuckers:
The new rightie talking point, as detailed by Holehead Somebody at the WSJ, is that it doesn't matter how many poor, previously uninsured people get covered by Obamacare, because they're doing it by taking money from the pockets of decent Americans who work at least as hard as Jeb Bush, and that is always, invariably wrong.
According to Fareed Zakaria, it's larger than those of the next 17 nations' military budgets combined -- and most of them are our FRIENDS. That is, if I remember correctly. It could be the next 27.
Wonder if we'll hear anymore about death panels. Whether them trying to continue to push it or perhaps an apology for initially pushing it. doubtful. worthless post sorry.
You mean panels of people that made up rules to deny pre-existing conditions and sentence people to death? No, we won't be hearing as much from GOP death panels. :)
Hey, it's different when you're Goddess of War, the Lady of Flame, Protector Against Disease and Evil Spirits, the Eye of Ra, whose very images are made from stone sacred to Herself ("alabaster")...

Indeed. RIP, Omar Sharif. Every woman my age (approximately) had a crush on you.
Never link to NY Times without warning! That's one of my eight free articles a month, on effin' CIRCUS CATS.

Sorry! For all its faults, the Times is worth it to me because of this very type of fine journalism, but that's just me.

Candidate McCubbins could still out-debate Marco Rubio, to name just one...
