Lately Biden has been accused of not doing the right thing in Israel, where he has no control at all. I am sure he is pressuring Netanyahu as much as possible behind the scenes (public condemnation of an egotist like Netanyahu backfires). He cannot unilaterally declare a ceasefire.
This is what drives me craziest. Biden cannot just snap his fingers and command Netenyahu, a FAMOUSLY right wing and anti-Palestinian leader, to cease fire.
especially not if you take into account the powerful pro-Israel backing there is in this country- tell me, anybody ever heard of a pro-Palestinian lobby to match AIPAC? A pro-Palestinian billionaire to offset Sheldon Adelman?
