Ta, Evan. Jug Box Whine is a nincompoop, as well as incompetent and unqualified for her job. That's the maladministration of That Thing in the Offal Office in a nutshell.

And of course Pirro's office issued a statement to the effect that while they were disappointed, they respected the jury's verdipffffft oh hahahahaha I crack myself up sometimes.

I agree with Reid in that I feel bad for the career prosecutors who got assigned this stupid case. If they were the least bit competent, they would have seen they’d been dealt a losing hand. They were trying to bluff with a pair of deuces while their opponent was holding a royal flush.

This is a hopeful story. Also, too, Tiedrich today was also hopeful in its own way. Donny Dementia is getting worse. https://www.jefftiedrich.com/p/shh-dont-wake-the-elderly-golfer-ef4

maybe she should try an actual ham sandwich, maybe 12 DC residents would convict … risky, it’d look pretty damning if they returned a not guilty though …

That statement from Reid and her attorneys felt wonderful. More like that please.

Just a random thought I had: I wonder how many ICE agents have criminal records? Has anybody even asked?

With a $50,000 signing bonus, I'll bet several were J6 participants and more than a few were pardoned by the Felon in Chief.

"But incompetence is the calling card of MAGA..."

True, but so is brazenness. It's a race right now to see which one wins, and they seem to be neck and neck, thanks to a hefty assist by the United States Supreme Court.

I want to know who the actual prosecutor was who appeared for the government in the case. NAME NAMES. Credit where credit's due, and all that. Pirro is head of the office but it seems unlikely she'd have presented the case to the trial jury.

I don't really care about names. What I do care about is that these people aren't being disbarred for this nonsense. These are bad lawyers doing bad lawyering on behalf of a lawless administration.

Demanding sanctions should be standard practice in all of these cases. Keep the DOJ attorneys nervous (and less inclined to file them.)

(conversation overheard behind the counter at corner 7-11)

"Holy shit! Look at this email on my phone! The DOJ wants to hire me! As a lawyer! I start next month!"

"WOW! Cool! I didn't know you even went to law school."

"People laughed at my Prager U law school certificates. Who's laughing now?"

"I dunno. Who is laughing?"

"Me dummy. I'm the one laughing now. That was a rhetorical question! I learned how to do that at Prager U."

"Whoa! That really sounds real legal! That Prager place really gets you up to speed!"

"Now I can quit my job here at the 7-11. Adios losers! If you see the owner tell him I always hated his guts!"

"I'm gonna miss you man."

"Here, take this coupon to Prager U Med School. I had been thinking of using it but now I don't need to. If you get some education I'll bet Bobby Kennedy Jr can use you at HHS."

"You're the best man!"

I hope the next step is to sue ICE and the DOJ for wrongful arrest and prosecution.

Maybe, at some point down the line, a Class Action Lawsuit with all the people that have had to go through any of this at the hands of Ice, DOJ, etc.?

I don’t think a single courtroom could hold all the people traumatized

I did actually ask something similar after Donald killed all those people by his negligent foot-dragging on COVID-19 before he tried to take all the credit for vaccine development when a Black woman scientist (from Harvard) actually led the discovery team

It IS important to keep track of their NUMEROUS crimes as best we can, to bring as many of them to justice as we can, to the extent possible, once our justice system is restored

I believe you're thinking of Kizzmekia Corbett, Ph.D., whom Dr. Fauci tapped on the shoulder along with the rest of her team. She/they had been working on a SARS vaccine for six years, so all the groundwork was laid for a vaccine for SARS-CoV-2. She's from North Carolina, and is so brilliant that UNC let her use their labs for her experiments when she was in high school. Young, gifted, and Black.

No, I was born in Brooklyn, grew up in the classic tristate area (NY, NJ, CT) and with a few exceptions like eight years in northern Manhattan have made my home in the East Village (where my late mother lived when she was born) since 1970.

The reason I know Kizzy Corbett's story is because I was a Patient Navigator for HIV positive adults, and knew I'd need some backup when I suggested they get the vaccine for COVID-19. I found her originally in a web magazine called Black Enterprise. I photocopied the article for them. She's beautiful, Christian, and southern as well as brilliant. I told my clients she makes me feel like a slacker. Between her story, and getting vaxxed myself, I convinced them, and none of them died of COVID, although another of our clients did. My husband went to university in NC, and we have relatives all over both Carolinas.

People who say shit like this have never seen what a lawsuit entails. Searching for a lawyer competent and willing, coming up with the money to pay the lawyer, the filing fees, fees for subpoena service, depositions, and her living expenses because she's too busy chasing your dream instead of engaging in paid employment. And then of course there's the emotional stress of being in a fight with people who have no problem disappearing people they don't like.

Yea, but she should totally do that.
