“ Curtis says he doesn’t want to “demonize” fossil fuels…”

That sounds familiar. How much is he getting from Elon?

I've donated to Gleich a couple of times since she announced her campaign, and had some hopes that she might be a decent candidate, for the reasons Dr. Zoom lays out. But I've become disenchanted. Since my first donation, I've received several hundred email and text solicitations for more donations (no exaggeration), but no thank you card, and no follow-ups to ask if I would be interested in volunteering. More importantly, I've seen no signs that Gleich is holding town halls, attending community events, doing media interviews, knocking on doors, organizing GOTV efforts, or anything else a real campaign would do. The most charitable interpretation is that she's running a radical experiment in running an online-only campaign. But I fear this is another one of Ben McAdams's easy-money grifts, so I've stopped donating. Caveat emptor.

Contrary to opinion hereabouts, LDS Mormons do not deprecate caffeine, that is an attempt to retrofit secular reasoning on a thing which is not that. "Pop" is acceptable in all its forms. So is chocolate, even prepared as a beverage. The prohibition is against "hot drinks" which is interpreted as coffee and tea, including herbal teas.

Important rule to remember, do not assume Other People's motivations make sense in your personal frame, because mostly they don't.

And all because Joe was getting back at Emma, who supposedly loved her “hot drinks,” for complaining about his philandering.

Highly recommend the Naked Mormonism podcast.

I just think anybody that would follow a known swindler like Joe Smith deserves all the shit they get. Much like Joe Smith did.

Samd with the L. Ron followers. It's like a filter to strain out the stupids. That, and MAGAt hats.

What an original and novel idea. Getting younger people involved in politics that decide their fates. Maybe they will stop pointing fingers and blaming all the older people for the way the world is while they were non voting.

Before you start piling on this is not an all or nothing thing. Non voters play a large part in why things are the way they are.
