Because of complaints from parents, the Board of Ed put off the public comment period? Isn't that what the frickin' public comment period is FOR?

You're lucky -- it seems to attract most people to Planet Teabagger.

So, little fairies pushing stuff down, vs. the multi-dimensional general relativity of space-time? I'll go with the latter, just because the math is easier.

Being a parasite is a proven long-term strategy. Republicans are the barnacles of democracy: they're very irritating, create turbulence and drag, and generally slow things down. The teabaggers, on the other hand, are more like tapeworms.

U. of Utah says their "average" freshman ranks in the 57% - 88% percentile in high school. Leaving aside how the hell "average" gets you to a 30% spread (Utah math!), there's the sad fact that the top ten percentile go out of state for their higher education. Unless of course they go to BYU for the intellectually stimulating "all-Mormon, all the time" experience.

Can't we just get rid of Utah?? Just fence the whole thing in, & liquidate them all, & start over?! I say, "fuck it" - Lets exterminate the pestilence that is the LDS cult. ...(& maybe Wyoming & Kansas too??) They're like an anchor, or ball-n-chain, weighing down progress & society - Just like their 'religion' is holding us back as a species.

"...by statute includes appointees selected by the Utah Senate, Utah House and state school board, were culled from schools and universities.

β€œThere were only a few people who carried the parent frame of mind,” he said. β€œAll the others had been schooled in the framework of educational thought.”

Let's just let that sink in for a moment. Is this article from the Onion?

Their reading is quite obviously selective. Much easier not to read at all and just keep bellowing that God is on their side.

Gravity - under debate. Step out a window and test it Newmeyer.

Well, General Relativity kinda says that the reason we feel gravity is because we're trying to move along a geodesic but the Earth is in the way. (kinda. Extra dimensions involved, also, too)

It got to be just too much work to actually pull out the phoney specs.
