Veep Gives Thumbscrews Thumb's Up
It might seem strange to some that a "ban" on torture by the U.S. government would have an exception, because that's really not much of a ban. But we think that Vice President Cheney's proposal to legally authorize the CIA to commit human rights abuses makes total sense. It's a kind of "right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" kind of thing. Or maybe a "right hand doesn't know that the left hand is sticking glow sticks up prisoners' butts" thing.
And if there's anyone who knows anything about keeping CIA agents (and their husbands) in line, it's Cheney. Hey, Dick, is "fucking yourself" a form of torture?
