Victory In Iraq! (But Only For Wonkette)

A couple of Marines told us last week that various blogs of the non-Bush-worshiping variety were being blocked at some U.S. bases in Iraq, despite the ready availability of pro-Bush blogs. And next thing you know, Hill staffers are hitting us up for details and the sad tale is on CNN.

And according to our original Marine sources, the previously blocked sites (including Wonkette) are suddenly available. Huzzah for that. One of the Wonkette operatives writes today, "Oh, about that CNN thing .... The reporter was fed some PR crap when they called (If bandwidth is a concern, why can I get to sites like HotOrNot?)."
