An reason Trumps "peace plans" keep failing is he keeps trying to turn the peace talks into a bidding war over who can give the best goodies to him for US aid. Neither side can afford a half ass half state and its why they keep ignoring the US

Correct me if I'm being obvious... but MY sense of the this is that if not for Rump Putin would not have invaded Ukraine in the first place. I mean, installing a Russia-friendly asshole; withholding military aid; all the Rethugs "blaming" Hunter et. al. for illegally getting rid of said Russian asset; Manafort BEING a Russian asset, lying about it to our Federal government to get Rump elected, then being pardoned once Rump is actually (barely) elected.... That last is the epitome of... the denouement... the climax, of the sheer traitorous actions carried out by on of America's political parties. While Republicans strive to kiss T's ass with things like "The Gulf of America". One wonders and how much of our money they'll spend trying to rename Canada "Northern America", Greenland "Eastern America", and Panama "Southern America". All while all the shit Rump is doing continues to cause chaos in our lives. This is a Shit Show wrapped in a shit show, surrounded by a shit show.

A few months ago I was talking to a fellow substitute teacher about Ukraine and he said he saw videos where "nothing was going on, and people were just going about their daily lives. I didn't see any war". Fucking jack ass. I go "dude" it's not as if there is fighting going on up to and along every single mile of the Ukrainian border. Fox isnt; going to show you the real story." I directed him to YouTube for videos of the conflict taken by Ukrainian solders. The death and destruction is plain to see.

Journalists try to simply the obvious, not knowing there is a code, and simplifying the code doesn't tell us anything about what those words ACTUALLY MEAN IN THE SPEAKER'S AND LISTENER'S context... their "lingo."
