I agree, though it pains me to say it. America needs to hit rock bottom — the people who voted for him need to feel the consequences this time. We tried to mitigate the harm in 2016-2020, but seemingly that only resulted in people thinking our warnings were overblown.
I hate that so many good, innocent people will be swept up in this and we should take of each other, our loved ones and neighbors, to the best of our abilities. Words didn't work — experience is the last remaining teacher. It's going to have to get much darker before we can move forward.
