It's sort of like how the FBI spent most of its first two-three decades compiling impressive crime-solving statistics by phoning up local cops, asking them how many stolen cars they'd seized or impounded, and modestly claiming credit for those recoveries.
Actually, one of the weird things about the front line -- Bill Mauldin wrote about it -- is the dead silence. Nobody wants to give their position away.
It always works...let them gnash their teeth and try to stalk me without me answering, until the moderator pulls the plug on the troll or the thread expires due to age.
Yeah, much better to wait 20 minutes for the cops to show up.
Did that in my youth with a donut deep fryer. It worked.

Another one that annoys me is the headline:
"The violence set off a near-riot."
Why not just say:
"The violence nearly set off a riot?"
What the heck is a "near-riot?" A slapping match in the schoolyard?
But they're "very fine people."

The Dennis Prager thread and VDare thread were overrun with them.
I do the same thing. I call it "the three R's."
1. Ridicule2. Report3. Reject

I think the blocking is a one-way street.
Yes!
There you have it. I like your avatar, too. What kind of catbert do you have?
My gorgeous Bentley is a Sphynx- they don't all look like naked gerbils!
I forgot to say thank you! Where are my manners?
Bentley is a great cat...I hope he/she/it is a friendly puss.
That's okay...there is always one more thing.
You cannot get through a day without hearing or seeing a reference to "The Wizard of Oz," a friend of mine told me.
This one is today's.
