I got rid of cable right before he left the air. I felt partly responsible. White people seemed to feel comfortable saying really dumb shit in front of him. I don’t know if it’s his nerdy demeanor, but it definitely made for interesting conversation when his nerdiness proved to be more in line with the latter years of Malcolm X(except his vocabulary could be more like younger Malcolm).
