Even on the marijuana, it's fairly clear that some of the AUSAs have a hard-on for busting dispensaries that greatly transcends any mere departmental priorities memo's ability to restrain them. To the point where it really makes you wonder whether deciding not to re-purge the USA offices to rid us of the "good Bushie" hacks was the right choice (it was not the right choice).

That would be the heavy majority of them, from what I recall. Also too, I didn't think that applied below the USA level and many of the worst hacks are at the Asst and lower levels.
