This is a way cooler camp stove and is pictured with bacon. And is $90. And REI.

Well, $280 for a single-stem vase isn't so crazy when you consider it took TWO (2) people to design and create it.

And this, right here, is what keeps me coming back to WonketteLand.

Good lord, the rain tonight/this morning. It's not exactly like I've been sleeping well the past couple of days, and it's coming down like bullets.

I usually enjoy the rain.

I've been struggling to think of a surprise for hubby and finally came up with something--a professional drawing of the dogs. He'll love it.

"gaping anus" is my pseudo-punk Eight is Enough (is it, though?) theme-song all-ocarina tribute band.

My cat is salivating at the picture of the "vase" and whispering "Buy it! Buy it!"

I got my cat-loving friend a very cute ceramic pasta tower a few years ago that her cat thought was a perfect knocker-downer-and he did. She almost had tears in her eyes when she said this-I can't have anything nice!

naughty kitty. I have to ask, what is a ceramic pasta tower? I am picturing some sort of noodly art object, or maybe for pasta storage?

BECKY's avatar

Exactly I think it was shaped like a lighthouse for pasta storage.

I love REI -- mostly -- but I can buy a $60 Coleman stove from Target that does the same thing as their $400 one.

Tina Mouse's avatar

You can but a $90 one. That one is just to spend money for the joy of burning money

I'm usually so hot and tired after climbing Everest, all I want is a salad.

Those glasses reminded me of some chairs I saw in a swnky real estate listing - I couldn’t find the listing again, but I did find some puctures of chairs like the obes I saw: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/71/39/d9/7139d9c6969b3e90c5f914e806136333.jpg

Honestly, I have a LettuceGrow and I love it. It's really not that much work, just add food and water then adjust the pH once a week, and I have more fresh herbs and lettuce than I can use myself. The only time it was a real burden was when I got some weird aphid like big infestation and had to take it all apart to clean, and even that wasn't that bad.

This is a good reminder that Drew Magary is probably putting the finishing touches on his annual William Sonoma catalog jambaroo.
