We're betting that the upcoming announcement has something to do with either shopping for cute shoes, making a sandwich, or running a kickass campaign for governor in 2014. Probably the shopping.
Troy is reaching that point in his career where his hair is occasionally bigger than he is. This is good timing in terms of getting max value for charity.
This may sound like a diss, but it's not. Really, good for him. AJ Hawk did something similar last(?) year. A little earlier in his career, because he is not as good an LB as Troy is a SS, but still good timing.
Maybe she's going to release a video of Rick Perry fucking a goat on the veranda of the Governor's Mansion. That will play well to some of Rick's constituents.
